Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARGARET JACKSON Peacefully on June 28, 2007, at Stonewall Hospital, Margaret Jeanette Jackson passed away in her 96th year. Predeceased by her husband Bill, she leaves to mourn her son Bill (Betty) of St. Catharines, Ontario, and their children, Heidi (Scott) and David, and her daughter Jean of Stonewall, and her children, Tracey, Bonnie and Mitch, as well as six great-grandchildren. Also to mourn, her dear friend Tom Dunn and his family, and soul son Doug Oakford and wife Lenore, as well as nieces and nephews. Margaret was predeceased by her brother Bob Drysdale and wife Ivy, and three brothers-in-law and their wives, Dave (Kay) Jackson, Henry (Grace) Jackson and George (Josie) Jackson. Margaret was born in New Westminster, BC, and lived her childhood years in Pugwash, NS, Toronto, ON, and Stony Mountain, MB. Margaret and Bill were married in 1935 and spent 10 years in Flin Flon, MB, before moving to Stonewall, where they lived the rest of their lives, enjoying friends, family and travelling. After Bill's demise, Margaret moved to Lions Manor in Stonewall. Failing health required her to move to Rosewood Lodge in 2005. Bright and alert to the end, Margaret enjoyed and appreciated her life with staff and friends there. At Margaret's request, cremation has taken place, and a private burial will be held at Stonewall Cemetery. MacKenzie Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Most sincere thanks to Dr. Donnelly and the nursing staff at Stonewall Hospital, as well as the staff at Rosewood Lodge, for your excellent care, compassion and love.
