MISS JOSEPHINE HADDAD
Date of Passing: Jun 22, 2007
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMISS JOSEPHINE HADDAD Daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. A. F. Haddad, of Winnipeg (formerly of Amaranth, Manitoba), passed away on June 22, 2007. Burial has taken place. There will be no service. Man is like the foam of the sea, that floats upon the surface of the water. When the wind blows, it vanishes, as if it had never been. Thus are our lives blown away by death. KAHLIL GIBRAN I was fortunate to have travelled a fair amount in my lifetime, and now I am on my final journey. I saw beautiful Canada (including Yukon) from coast to coast, from Kelsey Bay on Vancouver Island to Signal Hill in Newfoundland; visiting most of the interesting and beauty spots in between, as well as all capital cities. I also travelled North to Hudson Bay and South as far as Mexico. I visited many parts of the U.S.A., including Hawaii and Alaska, and saw a lot of Mexico. I toured Britain and Europe, country by country. I went to Bermuda, and to the Caribbean islands of Antigua, Barbados, Trinidad and Tobago, Jamaica, St. Thomas, Haiti, Puerto Rico, and the Bahamas. I went on a classical tour of Greece, and cruised to a number of Greek islands, stopping over on the Island of Rhodes for a week; and then on to Turkey for an all too-short a stay. I also vacationed on the Canary Islands. I went on an East African Safari; and toured Morocco from top to bottom and across. I also visited the South Pacific, which included a tour of two Fiji islands, both New Zealand islands, Australia and Tahaiti. And everywhere, there was evidence of the paint brush and works of the Great Creator - sunsets, sunrises, lakes, rivers, waterfalls, mountains and valleys, birds, animals, and flowers, all to be enjoyed at no extra cost. I met so many wonderful people along the way, all of whom contributed to making my travels all the more memorable. I am truly thankful for the many blessings I have been privileged to enjoy - yes, indeed, I have been truly blessed. Some friends and relatives have passed on; others will follow; and somewhere along the way, we will meet again.
