JEAN DUFAULT SR. Peacefully, on Wednesday, June 27, 2007 at the St. Boniface Hospital, Jean passed away at the age of 67 years. He was predeceased by his parents, Pierre and Edna; brother Emile and sister Jeannette, brothers-in-law, André Rémillard and Roméo Cinq-Mars. Jean will be forever remembered by his loving wife of 40 years Claire; son Jean (Javeed); and daughter Paulette (Jason). He is also survived by his nieces, Patricia (Dale); Rita, Diane (Kirby), Peanut, Suzanne (Vern) and Colette; nephews, Brian and Robert; sisters-in-law, Marguerite Lemoine and Hélène Cinq-Mars; and many other nieces and nephews, extended family and friends. Jean was born and raised in St. Boniface. He owned and operated Bertrand Autobody for several years, before deciding to pursue a career with MPI as an Estimator. After his retirement with MPI, he decided to work part-time as a bus driver for King Transportation which he really enjoyed. Together with his family, Jean loved fishing and hunting, and spending time traveling throughout the country. He was always full of life and saw great humour in everything. His true strength of character shone through as he battled his illness over the past year as he was always very patient and never complained. He will be truly missed and his memory cherished forever. The family is grateful for the care he received from Dr. Daeninck, Palliative Care and a special thanks to Sandy and Carol. Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, July 3, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. with a reception to follow.
