ELIZABETH (BETTY) BURTON (nee HOPE) It is with great sadness that the family of Elizabeth (Betty) Burton announces her peaceful passing on Thursday June 28, 2007. Betty will be lovingly remembered by all for her cheerful, positive approach to life and the joy she shared with others. Left to cherish her memories are her three daughters, Patricia Proctor (Ron), Audrey Thompson (Dale), Susan Foss (Larry) and her many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; sisters, Audrey Shine (Jack) and Betty Millen (David) and numerous relations overseas and in the USA. A special thank you to Dr. Ketecha for the excellent care you provided our mother. We would also like to thank the emergency staff and the staff at Grace Hospital. The family would like to thank mums special friends, Irene Anderson, Jean and Harry Grosvenor and June Cameron for always being there for her. At mum's request, cremation has taken place at Chapel Lawn and no formal services will be held. Mum will be laid to rest beside her husband (John) who predeceased her in January 2006. A gathering of family and friends will take place at the ANAF #283, 3584 Portage Avenue on Wednesday July 4, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. Arrangements entrusted to: Chapel Lawn Funeral Home 885-9715
