ROGER J. LAMIRANDE March 27, 1933 - June 30, 2007 It is with love and sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of our dear Dad and Grandpa at the Victoria Hospital. Roger will be sadly missed by his children, Gary (Debbie), Donald (Terri), Lynda (Dan), Cheryl (Bob), Bonny, Craig (Jody), and Kelly (Sandor); grandchildren, Autumn, Andria, Alissa, Faith, Hope, Eric, Mark, Jordan, Riley, Brett and Ryan. Also left to mourn his passing are his brothers, Eddie and Marcel; his good friend Barbara; and his dog Sammy. Roger was predeceased by his wife Dale in July 2003. He only takes the best. God saw you getting tired And a cure was not to be So he put his arms around you And whispered Come with Me. With tear-filled eyes we watched you suffer and fade away although we loved you deeply we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, Hard working hands put to rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 4, 2007, at 11:00 a.m. at the Thomson in the Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba.
