FLORENCE NELSON It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Florence. She was predeceased by her husband Ted Nelson; and parents Lawrence and Mary Graboski. Left to cherish her memory are her two sons, Lawrence from Headingley and Paul from Calgary; two brothers, Joe and Ambrose from Tolstoi; and her best friend Darlene, the sister she never had. Flo retired from Canadian Tire after 30 years. She loved the outdoors, going to the cottage with her favourite pals, Pugs and Trooper. She was very talented at woodworking and did lots of beautiful work. She will be remembered for her kindness and caring. She will be sadly missed by all that knew her. Thanks to the palliative nurses, especially Mary Ann, for their help. A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 6, 2007, at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., with reception to follow.
