JOZEF (JOE) DABROWSKI Jozef Dabrowski passed away peacefully, at the Health Sciences Centre, on Sunday, July 1, 2007 at the age of 84 years. Joe leaves to mourn his passing his beloved wife Janina; children: Richard (Sherry), Debbie (John), Henry (Helena), Susan, Henry (Blaine), Krystyna (Carol), Helen; grandchildren: Jennifer, Michelle, Corey, Ryan, Kaitlin, Shawn, Kyle, Dana, Randie, Suzanne, Joey, Jason, Linda, and Ray, many great-grandchildren. He was a lifetime member of the Bricklayer and Allied Craft Workers Union. Joe was quite the artist in his craft. Since retiring from his profession he enjoyed his garden, his yard and shopping for a bargain. He loved spending time with all his grandchildren. The grandchildren have treasured memories of the Tinker Town Tradition. He was a man of simple pleasures. Christmas' listening to him play his harmonica will be sadly missed. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 6, 2007, Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. Interment will follow in the Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. A special thank you is extended to the staff of the ICU Unit of the Health Sciences Centre. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Joe to the Heart and Stroke Association or Cancercare Manitoba.
