THOMAS EDWARD PRINCE July 17, 1943 - June 30, 2007 After a long brave fight with leukemia, Thomas passed away at Health Sciences Centre at the early age of 63. Thomas was predeceased by his first wife Helen Prince (Bunn); father Sargent Tommy Prince; mother Olive Sinclair; brother Terry and sister Kimberly. Thomas leaves to mourn his wife Jeannie; five children Loretta, children Amanda and Alfred; Earl (Lisa) and children Dawn, Carrie, Cheyenne, Corey and Michael; Angie and children Jed, Robert and Kristina; Vince (Angela) and children Andrea and Justine; and Larry (Brenda) and children Neil, Dakota, Shania, Tyler, Skylar and Selena and numerous great-grandchildren, aunties, uncles, cousins and friends. He was the oldest of 11 brothers and sisters born to Sargent Tommy Prince; Jim (Karen), Tommy Albert, Stewart, Rose, Karen, Pearl, Joyce, Kimberly (deceased), Kendrick and Carl. A viewing will be held on Thursday, July 5 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk. Cremation to follow. Funeral service will be held on Friday, July 6 at 10:00 a.m. also in the chapel. Special thanks to Pastor Scott Kennedy and Pastor Leon Fontaine for their uplifting words of prayer and to the staff at Health Sciences Centre for making his last hours with us as comfortable as they could be. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made CancerCare Manitoba. (Leukemia) Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
