Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELAINE DOREEN WILSON (nee Appel) With her family at her side, Elaine Wilson passed away peacefully on July 3, 2007, at the age of 68 years, after a courageous two year battle with cancer. Elaine is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Mac Wilson; daughters, Jean (Glen) Williams of Kenora, Gail (Wayne) Atamanchuk of Winnipeg; son Don (Debra) of Edmonton and seven beloved grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by her sisters Frances Pringle, Dryden; Joyce (Arnie) Cooper, Vermilion Bay; Shirley (Jim) Shaw, Kenora; and brother Gordon Appel, Edmonton. Elaine was predeceased by her parents, Henry and Elsie Appel and two brothers, Edgar and Roland. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the wonderful people at the Health Sciences Centre, CancerCare at Concordia Hospital and the nursing staff of the St. Boniface Palliative Care Program for their incredible support and understanding during Elaine's illness. A celebration of her life will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 7, 2007 at Immanuel United Church, 755 Golspie in Winnipeg. Flowers are declined with thanks; however donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Immanuel United Church, in memory of Elaine Wilson, would be gratefully appreciated.
