JOSEPH ROLAND LAPLANTE November 26, 1983 - July 3, 2007 With great sadness, we are announcing the sudden passing of Joseph on July 3, 2007, at the Health Sciences Centre. Joseph will be lovingly remembered by his parents Brian and Karen, brother Ian, grandma Shirley LaPlante, grandpa Louie Bighetty, his aunts, Carol, Arlene, Elisa (Dan), Pauline, Loretta, Susie, and Andrea, uncles, Ron, Ross, and Charles, as well as his many extended family members, and his special great-aunties, Sarah and Christine. He was predeceased by grandpa Jean-Guy Joseph Roland LaPlante (Johnny), grandma Anita Bighetty, aunt Linda Bighetty, and uncle Emerson Bighetty. Joseph was good, softhearted, and generous, great with all the children he knew, and always was willing to lend a helping hand. He enjoyed music, movies, pool, video games and often liked to joke around. The family would like to express a heartfelt thank-you to the staff at the Health Sciences Centre for their great care and support. We also extend a special thanks to our cousin Rocky Plantz for his helpfulness in our time of need as well as the members of the Nelson House First Nation and the Little Saskatchewan First Nation bands for their support. Prayers and the Wake to take place at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main at Inkster, Winnipeg, MB, on Thursday, July 5 from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Funeral will be held Friday, July 6 at 12:00 noon, also at Cropo Funeral Chapel, with interment to follow at St. Vital Cemetery. We love you Joe and we will sadly miss you. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
