WATT March 20, 1932 June 26, 2007 After a spirited battle with ALS, we regret to announce the passing of our dear father, grandfather and friend. Alex mined in Red Lake in his early years, was a transport driver for his remaining working years and became involved in the Legion, as Zone Commander - Manitoba/NW Ontario, and Past President - Norwood, St. Boniface Legion. Alex was predeceased by his loving wife and best friend, Eva Watt (Ducharme); his parents Alexander and Vera Watt; and his brother Graham Watt. He is survived by his son Glenn (Catherine); and his grandchildren, Scotty, Christopher and Michelle. He leaves to mourn extended family and many friends. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the ALS Society of Manitoba, Deer Lodge Centre, and Manitoba Home Care. All of your compassion, commitment and understanding made a difference in dad's life. Memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 8, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at the Norwood, St. Boniface Legion, 134 Marion St. Donations can be made to the ALS Society of Manitoba, 2109 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3J 0L3.
