Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryAMBROSE JOSEPH BUSHIE A Message From Someone Who Loves You Born to Florence and John Bushie on August 23, 1944, their son named Ambrose Joseph Bushie (CHICH) who lived in Hollow Water First Nation most of his life. On July 2, 2007 at 11:40 p.m. I had a calling I could not turn down. My body was tired and my emotions were mixed but I could not turn my back. It was a decision that was hard, so my reason for crying all weekend was I knew that my time was near and my tears were those of pain, joy, and the thought of leaving all of you. I left you all a personal lesson that you can keep in your heart forever. My loving wife Martha, and my children, Herman, Billy-Joe (Illa), Elizabeth (Glenn), Waylon, Faron (Raquel), Ryan, Cody, Little Liz, Yvette, Frances, and all my lovely grandchildren, loving you was easy and I will continue to look after you from my new home. My message to my brothers, Rod (Eileen), Adolphus (Darlene), Allen (Lillian), Vern (Myrna) and my sisters, Clara, Emma, Lena (Edgar), Alice, Connie (Donavan) and Elma (Sheldon), and the rest of the children is to be together and don't forget one another and continue to support my family. My father-in-law Albert Young, my brother-in-law William (Bonnie), and my sisters-in-law, Mary (Ted), Rebecca, Doreen (Larry) and Linda (John), thank you for sharing your daughter/ sister with me and your continuous love will be the greatest support for my family. Help my family celebrate my life with wakes starting on Wednesday, July 4, 2007 to July 6, 2007 at the Hollow Water Band Hall. On Saturday, July 7, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. there will be a service and my last farewell as I journey on. The pallbearers who have been close to me over the years and will do the final walk with me will be Charles Smith, Dennis Sinclair, Larry Raven, Dale Hardisty Sr., Garnet Sinclair, Clem Fontaine and Donavan Fontaine. The honorary pallbearers will be my children, my friends, Eric, David and Terrill. I am going to my new home with a perfect resume - in all the positions I have worked it was that of a protector. I worked for Child and Family Services as a worker and maintaining families was important, and working for Natural Resources for 13 years saving our forest. I worked at the beach for various people and it was an enjoyable task and babysitting for my sister was fun as well. Listening to the gospel jams affirmed my belief of the higher power and I enjoyed the friendships I found. Watching the square dancing was a thrill I enjoyed, my favourite dancer was Sterling Ranville and his toe tapping was easy to follow watching from my wheelchair. As a protector from the great heaven with my mom, dad, grandparents, sisters, brothers, and granddaughter Alyssa by my side, I will continue to give guidance and comfort. Thank you to all my care providers in Hollow Water and the Pine Falls Hospital, especially to the nurses in the Dialysis Unit. Prairieland Aboriginal Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
