ROBERT EDWARD CONGDON 1923 - 2007 Peacefully on July 4, Bob died at Kelowna General Hospital surrounded by his family. Beloved husband (58 years) of Connie, father to Roberta (Walter) Good and Sandra Congdon (Donald Hannah). Forever remembered by his granddaughters Kelly, Carolyn and Sarah. Bob is also survived by his sister Sadie Dunn (Bride) of Brandon, MB, and sister-in-law Denise Beley of Winnipeg, MB. Bob was born in Newdale, MB, served in the RCAF and attended the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Manitoba and lived in Winnipeg for 43 years until 1988 when Bob and Connie relocated to Kelowna. His interests included hunting, fishing, softball and curling. In later years he was a regular at the Mission Creek Golf Course and couldn't resist a good sing-a-long. Bob was truly Mr. Fix It and loved to help his friends and neighbours with their many projects. The family would like to extend their grateful appreciation to Dr. M. Koss and the nursing staff of 5B for their caring attention. A celebration of Bob's life will take place on Tuesday, July 10, 2007, at 1:00 p.m. at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, with reception to follow.
