Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCHERYL DONNA GRACE ALLEN August 25, 1956 - July 2, 2007 It is with the deepest sadness and sorrow that we have to announce the passing of Kim's soul mate Cheryl at the Grace Hospital. She was predeceased by her sister Amber. Leaving behind to mourn her are her beloved husband Kim; daughter Kristie; son-in-law Kris; beautiful granddaughter Kyra (Little Angel); her mother and father Donna and Norm Wilson, brother Bob McLean (Sherry) Whip Wilson; brothers-in-law Douglas (Florence), Patrick, Stephen (Debbie), sister-in-law Diane. Cheryl was born in Teulon, raised in Winnipeg and attended Sansome and Westwood before moving to Norway House. There she met and fell in love with Kim while working at the airport for Transair. Later she worked at the Hudson's Bay Company. Moving back to Winnipeg she married her love in 1974, one year later her daughter was born. She worked briefly for Olympic Sportswear and Mac's, then Kim decided that he would provide and she didn't have to work ever again. Winnipeg wasn't her lifestyle, so they moved to Stonewall. During a brief stay in Thompson, she discovered she had MS. Returning to Stonewall, she helped build their happy home, where she watched Kristie grow up. Cheryl loved to read, garden and do crafts. She upgraded her education and was so proud when she received her G.E.D. She learned sign language, carving, guitar playing and even did some painting. She loved camping, fishing, boating and travelling when she could. She loved life, the sounds, colours, her three cats Timmy, Suk and Zoe, and she had a great sense of humour. During her later years with M.S., she was lovingly cared for by Family Management Workers, Spring, Lorraine, Lisa, Margaret, Frances, Jana, Julie, amongst others, and nurses Michelle, Christine, the cute young nurse Cathy, whom she considered family. An evening memorial service will be held at the Anglican Church, 1st Street West in Stonewall, on Wednesday, July 11, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Manitoba, Suite 100, 1465 Buffalo Place, Winnipeg, MB R3T 1Z8. We will meet again my Love.
