Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRUTH MARIE MARGUERITTE LANG (nee Delisle) It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Ruth Peggy Lang on Tuesday July 3, 2007 at the Grace Hospital at the age of 82 years. Remaining to forever cherish Ruth's memory are her long time companion of 40 years Eldon Ramsay; sons, Richard (Lorraine) and Wayne (Laima); beloved grandchildren, Candice, Jaclyne, Brad, Linas, Riley and Kyle; great-grandchildren, Skylar and Jael; Chris Ramsay and many nieces and nephews. Mom was born on October 28, 1924, the youngest of 15 children, to Edmond and Eugenie Delisle. She retired after a career at the Health Sciences Centre where she made many good friends. Travelling was one of Mom's passions; she spent vacations visiting distant places including Tunisia, Australia, Europe and the Caribbean. Mom also loved spending summer days at the trailer at Spruce Sands. Being a volunteer at the Deer Lodge Centre and at events such as the Pan Am games were very important in her life. Mom was an avid five-pin bowler and took delight in the challenge of a good cross word puzzle. She will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by all who knew her. A funeral service for friends and relatives of Ruth will be held on Monday, July 9, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at Westwood Community Church, 401 Westwood Drive. A very special thank you goes out to the doctors and staff at the Grace Hospital for all the gentle care given to Mom. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ruth's memory may be made to the Manitoba Lung Association, 629 McDermot Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3A 1P6.
