JOYCE BLANCHE MENEGHIN (nee POUSTIE) Peacefully on Tuesday, July 3, 2007, after a short battle with cancer, our beloved mother, grandmother, aunt and sister Joyce passed away at the age of 63 at the Riverview Health Centre. She was predeceased by her loving husband Leo in 1984; her parents, Ray and Blanche Poustie; mother-in-law and father-in-law Evaristo and Irene Meneghin, and brother-in-law John Floren. She is survived by her five children, Peter (Gisele), Michael (Jinette), Charlene (Len), Kimberly, and Penny (Rick). She was a loving grandmother to Eddie, Sherisse, Destiny, Karen, Jeffery, Kevin, Taylor, Cory, Cody, and Courtney. She was a great-grandmother to Duran and Dylan. Joyce will be sadly missed by her two brothers, Harold Poustie and Tom (Bev) Poustie from Grassie, Ontario; her nephews, Mark (Heather) Poustie from Ontario and Dale from Ontario; great-nephew Cole Poustie from Ontario; sister-in-law Evelyn Floren and her two sons, David (Linda and family) and Grant (Linda and family) as well as two special friends that Mom considered part of her family, Belinda Meseman and Barry Piasta. Joyce was born and raised in Winnipeg. She had a beautiful smile and loved to laugh. She was very devoted to her family and always put everyone's needs before her own. We all loved her dearly. She enriched our lives and we will always remember her. We, the family would like to give our deepest appreciation to the wonderful staff and volunteers at Riverview who made her final days so peaceful and comfortable. Following Mom's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no formal service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Joyce's memory to CancerCare Manitoba.
