MARY WESELAKE June 26, 1912 - July 4, 2007 It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our loving mother and grandmother on July 4, 2007 at the age of 95 years. She leaves to cherish her memory her devoted children, daughter Janet Grates, son-in-law Tom Grates of Fair Oaks, California; son Gary Weselake, daughter-in-law Rozanne Weselake of Edmonton, Alberta; grandchildren, Chris Miller (Wendy) of California, Rhonda Beringer of Edmonton, Alberta; great-grandchildren, Reann Beringer and Amber Berens-Miller; brother Edward Kruk and sister-in-law Nadine of Winnipeg, Manitoba and numerous nieces and nephews. Mary was predeceased by her loving husband Theodore Weselake; brothers, John (Katie), Harry (Yvonne) and Mike Kruk. Many people will remember and have fond memories of Mary and her husband Teddy. They owned and operated the landmark of Teddy's Place in Tyndall, Manitoba from 1947 to 1971. Mary was active in the village of Tyndall alongside her husband in numerous clubs and charities. Mary had resided in Winnipeg since 1971. The family would like to acknowledge the wonderful and loving care she received at Bethania Personal Care Home since 1999. A very special thanks to Katie, Shirley, Jack, Wanda, Maria and Kelly, Dr. Dormer and Chaplin Friesen. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart Stroke Foundation. A memorial service and celebration of her life will be on Monday, July 9, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. in Green Acres Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Green Acres Cemetery.
