FRANK MATIOWSKY Peacefully on July 7, 2007, Frank passed away at his residence in Winnipeg at the age of 81 years. Frank is survived by his loving wife Anne; son Russell (Hanna); granddaughters, Amber (Myles) and Leah; son-in-law David Lyons, numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his daughter Dr. Frances Matiowsky; brothers, Mike, Peter, Walter and sister Mary. Frank was born on December 16, 1925 in Seech, Manitoba to Alex and Dora Matiowsky and farmed in the Oakburn area all his life. The family would like to thank the home care staff, his many friends at Gable Arms Apts. and the staff at Kildonan Personal Care Centre for their care and compassion over the past few years. Prayers will be said on Tuesday, July 10 at 7:30 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 11 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anne's Ukrainian Catholic Church, 455 Douglas Avenue. Interment to follow in Green Acres Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Frank's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
