CORAZON DIMALANTA (nee BORILLO) March 29, 1954 - July 1, 2007 It is with deep sadness that the Dimalanta family announces the passing of beloved Corazon Dimalanta on July 1, 2007. Corazon's very sudden and unexpected death affected all of the loved ones in her life. She leaves her everlasting memory with her husband Cesar; two sons, Christopher and Cesar Jr.; father Fermin Borillo and mother Pelagia Borillo; sister Erlinda (Juan); brothers, Edgardo (Jovelyn), Aurelio (Lucila); nephews, Joeffrey, Joselito, James, Albert Jr., Jonathon, Joshua John, Marvin, Jed; nieces, Michelle and Marielle. She was predeceased by her brother Alberto in 1994. Corazon was born and raised in Lipcan, a small village located in the Philippines, later relocating to Holland for her profession and then establishing her home in Winnipeg; where, she married her loving husband and had two children. She was a very hardworking and generous person with a wonderful personality. She was known to put everyone's well-being before hers. Corazon was surrounded by family and friends, whom respected and loved her dearly. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, a caring mother, an affectionate daughter, a warm sister and a treasured friend. She will greatly be missed by all who knew her. The viewing will take place on July 12 and July 13 from 6:00 p.m. until 12:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home. Funeral service to be held on Saturday, July 14 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Edward's Roman Catholic Church, 818 Arlington St., with Father Vicente Tungolh officiating.
