Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMATTHEW H. RIPCO Matthew H. Ripco passed away peacefully on July 8, 2007 at the age of 77 at the Concordia Hospital. Matthew was born on November 4, 1929 in the R.M. of Rosedale. Matthew farmed till the fall of 1967. He moved into Neepawa with his mother and lived with her until her passing. In 1984 due to health problems, Matthew moved to Winnipeg and lived with his niece Caroline. He enjoyed his outings to Unicity Shopping Mall, Nick's Café and family gatherings. His friends would faithfully join him daily for coffee at MacDonald's at the Unicity Mall. Matthew was predeceased by his parents, Harry and Annie; brothers, John, Michael, Peter, Raymond, Paul and George, sisters, Ann, Elsie and Mary; brothers-in-law, Bill, Nick and Tony; sisters-in-law, Olga's. Matthew will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his sisters, Polly Bodnar, Jean Symowich and Margaret Kwiatkowski. Matthew was a very special uncle to Alex, Tony, Margaret, Caroline, Frances, Irene, Jennette, Peggy, Barbara, Elizabeth, Walter and Paul. We will miss him dearly. He will also be fondly remembered by Marilyn, Leo, Roy, Raymond, Glenn, Ken, and Stephanie and also great nieces and nephews, Christopher, Melissa, Amanda, Cheryl, Kyle, Brianne, Charlene, Jay, Mallory, Kole and Scot. Matthew will also be mourned by numerous nieces and nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law residing in Alberta and Ontario. He will be missed by his close friends from Neepawa and Winnipeg. Our special thank you to Dr. M. Kepron at Health Sciences Centre for being his doctor for the past 25 years. Also Dr. Greg Eschun and Intensive Care Staff at Concordia Hospital. A special thank you to Susan Sparling (health nurse) and the Home Care Team. Funeral service will take place on Thursday, July 12, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. with interment and reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lung Association of Manitoba, 629 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB, R3A 1P6. Rest in peace. You will always be remembered in our thoughts and prayers.
