ALFRED FRIESEN November 16, 1923 - July 9, 2007 Peacefully and with dignity, Al passed away at the Grace Hospice. Predeceased by his wife Joan (Pincock), Al is survived by his children, Allison (Rick) Andruchuk, Brant (Claudette) Friesen, Marg (Don) Black, Leslie (Gyl) Toshack, Karen Friesen, Alec (Christy) Friesen. Al was very proud of his many grandchildren, Kathryn, Kirsten, Amy, Holly, Annie, Tara, Charyl, Trevor, Steven and Kally; and great-grandchildren, Ethan, Paige, and Tara's sons, Aidan and Kiran. He will also be fondly remembered by his brother Walter (Olive) Frieson of Prescott, Ontario. Al was employed at Air Canada Finance for over 30 years, retiring in 1986. Golf was his game, and he remained passionate about it throughout his life. A Life Celebration will be held at Breezy Bend Golf Course on Thursday, July 12 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Grace Hospice, 260 Booth Drive, Winnipeg, MB R3J 3R5.
