JACOB D. ABRAMS Jacob D. Abrams, aged 89 years, of Altona, MB, passed away peacefully at the Beausejour Health Centre on July 9, 2007. He leaves to cherish his memory his daughter Anne (Ed) Klassen; his sons, Jack (Gaylene), John (Penny); five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Jake was predeceased by his beloved wife Helen on August 25, 2006. The funeral service will be held Friday, July 13, 2007, at 2:00 p.m. from the Sommerfeld Mennonite Church in Altona, MB, with interment to follow in the Hochstadt Cemetery. Viewing will be held at Wiebe Funeral Home Altona on Thursday, July 12, 2007, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and at the church prior to the service. In memory of Jacob D. Abrams donations may be sent to CancerCare Manitoba. Wiebe Funeral Home Altona 204-324-5404 in care of arrangements.
