JOSEPH KELSCH It is with deep regret we announce the passing of Joseph Kelsch on July 7, 2007 at the St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 87 years. Remaining to forever cherish Joe's memory are his nephews, Robert Strong (Barbara), Brian Strong (Debbie), Rick Kelsch (Adele); nieces, Linda Badger, Debbie Gregory and Wendy Smith; many friends including special friends, Lawrence Gillis and Len Johansson. He was predeceased by his mother Millicent Baier; father Joseph Kelsch; brothers, Alex and Theodore (Ted); sisters, Anna Marie Strong (Kelsch) and Edith Tanasai (Kelsch). A resident of Winnipeg for most of his life, Joe's career spanned many years in financial sales with A.G.F. and insurance with Purple Shield. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, July 13 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Ignatius Roman Catholic Church, 255 Stafford Street at Corydon Avenue with Rev. Fr. Peter Monty, S.J. presiding. Interment will follow in Assumption Roman Catholic Cemetery, 3990 Portage Avenue. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Joe's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 6 Donald Street, Suite 200, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3L 0K6 or to Catholic Charities.
