LORNA MARIE LEE 1914 - 2007 Peacefully on Monday, July 9, 2007 Lorna Lee of Winnipeg, formerly of Prairie Grove, MB, passed away at the age of 93 years. Lorna was predeceased by her husband, Clifford Bruce in 1990. She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her two daughters, Verla Brown and Noreen Braun (Bradley); granddaughter Lori Milani (John) and great-grandchildren, Sara, Marissa and Derek Milani; brother Gordon Olson (Charlotte), sister-in-law Louise Olson and numerous nieces and nephews. Lorna was a very active, outgoing person who loved people but was greatly limited by diminishing eyesight. She was born 1914 to Edwin and Olena Olson, second eldest of 11 children. She met and married Clifford Lee at The Pas, MB and shortly after they were stationed on the west coast with the air force. Verla was born in The Pas, Noreen in Vancouver. Upon retirement from the Department of Transport and more moves, they eventually settled into winters in Phoenix, summers in Gimli for a number of years. Cremation has taken place. A remembrance tea will be held from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 14, 2007 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (south of the Royal Canadian Mint). Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations may be made to a charity of one's choice or to Golden Links Lodge, 2280 St. Mary's Road. Mom's final dream was realized when she moved into the Lodge in February.
