PARMELIA MARIE TRUDEAU (nee SAVIGNAC) July 12, 1930 - July 9, 2007 It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend at the age of 76 years after a courageous battle with cancer. She is survived by her brother Marcel Savignac of Montreal; three children, Shirley (Ken), Larry (Anna), Todd (Nicola); seven grandchildren, Christopher, Nancy, Roy, Neil, Adam, Allison, and Eric; two great-grandchildren, Taron, and Emma; numerous nieces and nephews. Mom was predeceased by her loving sisters, Terry, Irene, and Margaret. Mom was a foster mother for over a thousand children over 20 years. We will always remember your smile, your warm heart and the jokes you liked to tell. We will keep your enduring love for all of us in our hearts. Viewing will be held on Friday, July 13, 2007, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Knysh Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main St. A memorial service will follow on Saturday, July 14, 2007, at 11:00 a.m., also at the chapel. A heart of gold stopped beating, hard working hands went to rest, God took you home to prove to us He only takes the best. You always did your best, your heart was true and tender, you lived your life for those you loved, and those you loved will remember. Our family would like to thank the staff of Seven Oaks General Hospital for all the support and care of our mom which made everything a little more bearable during her short battle with cancer.
