LESLIE VICTOR STORY We are saddened to announce the tragic passing of Les on July 8, 2007. He will be sadly missed by his mother Fern Story of Grandview, MB; wife Janet of Winnipeg; two sons, Dustin (Maureen) of Winnipeg, Jeritt (Carmelle) of Winnipeg; one brother Chuck (Audrey) of St. Albert, AB; five sisters, Donalda Floyd of Greenwood, TX, Peggy Harris (Doug) of Grandview, MB, Susie Britton (Brian) of Cluny, AB, Karen Stevenson (Mike) of Swan River, MB, Patty Onofriechuk (Brian) of Roblin, MB; as well as Janet's family, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, business partner Jim Crowe, and best friend Gerry Souisseau. Les was born in Grandview, MB, in 1946. He was raised on the family farm by his parents Fern and Tom, along with his six siblings. He moved to Winnipeg in 1965 and chose a career as an electrician and began working for Wareham Crowe Electric. Les married his teenage sweetheart from Grandview in 1968. Jim Crowe and Les became business partners in 1991 and took over the company where his two sons would eventually follow in his footsteps and worked alongside of him. Les had a love for life, family, and children, and made many friends along the way. He loved many things, which included the outdoors, waterskiing, camping, fishing, auctions, carpentry, and especially enjoyed time spent with his sons and Gerry out at the lot. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 13, 2007, at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. Family and friends are invited to sign the Book of Condolences at www.glenlawn.ca.
