ALVINA SINGBEIL It is with great pain and sadness that we announce the passing of our loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Alvina Singbeil on July 9, 2007, at the Seven Oaks Hospital at the age of 97 years. Alvina is survived by her loving son Ralph (Lorraine), daughters Violet, Fran and Joyce, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Alvina was predeceased by her husband Edward, sons Gordon and Bud, and daughters Jean and Alice. Mom will be fondly remembered by her family and friends for her love, kindness and wonderful sense of humour. A special thanks to Dr. P. Patel, Dr. Wong and the caring and compassionate staff at Seven Oaks Hospital. Funeral services will be held at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., on Saturday, July 14, 2007, at 3:00 p.m., with viewing taking place one hour prior. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada, MB Division, 730 Taylor Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3M 2K8, or your charity of choice.
