EDWARD BORSBOOM Peacefully on July 11, 2007, Ed passed away in the Health Sciences Centre's surgical intensive care unit. He leaves to miss him dearly his wife Shirley of 44 years; his daughter Jacqueline (Marcel); his son Jim (Lesley); and grandchildren, Chelsea, Zackary and Mackenzie; along with brothers, John (Thea), Bill (Diane) and sisters, Mary, Gertie (Clarence), Theresa (Raymond), Anne (Walter), Liz (Mike), Barb (George); many neices and nephews and many friends including his dog Darma. His brother George and sisters, Ida and Kathy and Mom and Dad have gone before him. Ed was a mechanic by trade and by nature. His passions were many and included the outdoors, music, dogs, cars, and family, especially kids. He spent many weekends with his family, camping and going to car shows. His wonderful sense of humour will be missed - he always had time to joke. A memorial service will be held in the United Church at 15 River Road in Starbuck, Manitoba, at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, July 14, 2007. Luncheon to follow at the Starbuck hall. We would like to extend our warmest thanks to his surgeons and the the staff of the SICU and to all of our family and friends for their support. In lieu of flowers donations to the Winnipeg Humane Society can be made.
