EVICA PAULA WATSON (nee JOSIPOVIC) 1951 2007 Suddenly on July 8, 2007, Evica Paula Watson sadly left this world on the Wings of a Dove that would carry her soul to a Better Home. Evica was born to John and Maria Josipovic in Mackovac, Croatia on January 24, 1951. She came to Canada in 1967 and attended school at St. Benedicts in Winnipeg. The Jankac Family was a big part of Evica's life during her early years in Winnipeg, and they always held a special place in her heart. After graduating from High School, Evica moved to Thompson where she married Dale Watson, and together they were blessed with two beautiful sons, Gregory and Sean. In 1978, the Watsons moved to Winnipeg where Evica was very proud to represent Estée Lauder at The Bay and later on, Calvin Klein. As a devoted cosmetician, Evica was one of the finest in Winnipeg and Western Canada. Based on her expertise and excellent rapport with her clientele, Evica received many commendations. Evica and Dale were separated by the hand of fate in the mid 1990s and each began new lives, but the love they had for their sons never changed. Evica began a new chapter in her life in 1997 when she met her soulmate Gary Winning, the man with whom she chose to spend the rest of her life. Gary has been an amazing and loving partner, as well as a pillar of strength for Evica over the last several years, and the family, especially Greg and Sean would like to say Gary, Mom always loved you and so did we, and that love will never die. Evica was sadly predeceased by her mother Maria Josipovic in 2000 and her aunt Anna Sekulic in 1989. Evica leaves to mourn her father John Josipovic; her spouse Gary Winning; her two sons, Gregory and Sean, and their dad Dale Watson; her one-and-only grandson and light of her life, Jaden Gregory Watson; her mother-in-law Dorothy Winning and stepson James Winning; the Sekulic Family; the Ranisavljevic Family; and the Jankac Family. Also left behind is Daisy, Evica's canine friend. A celebration in honour of Evica's life will take place at Saint Nikola Tavelic Croatian Church, 2688 Main Street, Winnipeg on Monday, July 16, 2007 at 10:00 a.m., with a Mass officiated by Monsignor Norman J. Chartrand. A private interment of the ashes will take place at a later date in the presence of family members at the St. Vital Cemetery where Evica has always said she wanted to be laid to rest. My soul is free for all eternity; My pain is gone, cry not for me. Mom, now it's your turn to rest easy, and our turn to love you more . FRIENDS FUNERAL SERVICE 2146 Main Street 339-5555
