MAUREEN LANOWAY (nee JOHNSON) Peacefully, surrounded by family, Maureen passed away on Saturday, June 30, 2007 at Countryside Home in Jefferson, Wisconsin. Maureen was born December 17, 1925 in Sanford, Manitoba. She married Frank Lanoway of Oak Bluff December 27, 1947 and soon after moved to Ft. Atkinson, Wisconsin. She will be sadly missed by her five children, Franceen Leslie (Bob), Tom Lanoway (Barb), Deidre Buckman (Mark), Marla Schultz (Bill) and Greg Lanoway (Sharon); eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother Doug Johnson (Mina); sister Joyce Dheere, and sisters-in-law, Margaret Johnson and Olive Lanoway, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Frank; parents, Ron and Maud Johnson; brother Ken, and sister Mona. A private memorial service was held at the Dunlap Memorial Home on Friday, July 6 with Fr. Nolan officiating. Interment followed at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery in Ft. Atkinson.
