OLIVER VALENTINE KITCHING It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our Dad, Papa and Big Papa, Oliver Kitching, on July 13, 2007. At the age of 87, with family by his side, Dad closed his eyes and went to sleep. To cherish his memory and celebrate his life he leaves his son Allan (Linda) Kitching and their children, Shawna (Larry) Prokopowich and Oliver's great-grandchildren, Lane and Eric Prokopowich; Jennifer (Jeremy) Knutson, Kristy Kitching; his daughter Sheila (Harry) and their children, Keith Kowalchuk (Dayna Ramsdell) and Mika Kowalchuk; his son Brian Kitching (Barb Webber) and their sons, Delaney and Lucas Kitching; Oliver's three brothers and three sisters and their families also mourn his passing. Oliver was predeceased by our dear Mum, Mary, in 2003 and infant brother Harold; his brother Allan; sister and brother-in-law Opal and George Scott; his brother-in-law Brian Cooper. A service will be held at the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Stonewall on Friday, July 20 at 2:00 p.m. Family interment will follow at the Rockwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba or a charity of one's choice. MacKenzie Funeral Home, Stonewall in care of arrangements.
