AARON JAMES NABESS It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Aaron James Nabess on July 12, 2007, at the age of 20. Aaron will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his girlfriend Amanda Alexander, Amanda's daughter Cali Marie Alexander, and his unborn child; father Darren Nabess, mother Audra Slater, also his siblings Dean, Christian, Chloe, and Michael. Aaron will also be missed by Bertha Gofflot, Rebecca Rivers (mother of Michael, Christian and Chloe), numerous uncles, aunties, cousins and friends as well as his special uncle Marcus Nabess. Aaron was predeceased by his Grandma and Grandpa Slater, Grandpa Ovide Nabess, Uncle John, Uncle Stewart, Auntie Melody and brother Howie Alexander Nabess. Aaron was born and raised in the Elmwood area and was a fun loving kid with a big heart, a great smile and an awesome sense of humour. His passions in life were his family and his siblings. Aaron enjoyed playing his guitar, boxing, singing and rapping. He enjoyed his job as a painter alongside his father who is his best friend. A celebration of Aaron's life will be held on Wednesday, July 18, 2007, at 2:00 p.m. at Gateway Christian Community Church, 851 Panet Road, with Pastor Ken Peters officiating. Reception to follow at Gateway Christian Community Church. The family would like to thank the Winnipeg Police Service for their kindness, compassion and hard work.
