ARTHUR HENRY (HARRY) BARKER Harry passed away Sunday, July 15, 2007 at West Park Manor Personal Care Home. He was born December 1, 1912 in Melita, Manitoba to Henry and Alice Barker He is survived by his treasures , his wife Luella and son Kenneth. Also sisters-in-law, Ruth Swanson (Moose Jaw) and Etheleen Dann (Deloraine), as well as nieces and nephews and their families. He has been predeceased by five sisters and one brother. He went to school in Melita and was married to Luella (Dann) July 19, 1941. At that time they moved to Winnipeg which has been their home. He worked for many years for Pilkington Glass retiring in 1977. His wife and son were special to him. Throughout the years he enjoyed travelling to the United States and gardening. The family would like to thank the staff at West Park Manor Personal Care Home for all their kindness to Harry and their continuing care of Luella and Ken. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at West Park Manor Personal Care Home, 3199 Grant Ave. on Wednesday, July 18 at 1:30 p.m.
