Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOZEFA MACIEJKO November 18, 1936 - July 16, 2007 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our Mom, Grand-Mom, Sister and Aunt, Jozefa, who, after a long illness, died peacefully with her family at her side on July 16, 2007. Mom is survived by her children, Ewa Szukiewicz (John), Zdzislaw Bozynski (Irene); and grandchildren, Caroline, Peter and Christopher. She is also survived by her sisters, Wanda Gozda and Stanislawa Bozynska (Jan); and many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her parents Stefania and Kazimierz; and her husband Peter. Mom was born on November 18, 1936, in Poland. After completing university with an education diploma, Mom spent 33 years as an elementary teacher, retiring in 1987. While teaching, Mom was involved in Girl Guides and Boy Scouts, and for many years Mom was also involved with children's summer camps, taking us with her to many beautiful places in Poland. In 1988 she immigrated to Canada to join her two children and other family members already living here. Because of her love of teaching, and working with children, she taught Polish at the Holy Ghost School for 12 years. She was an active parishioner at the Holy Ghost Church. She taught catechism to children and was a lecturer during masses. She loved her family, friends, life and traveling. Our Mom loved God for everything: for happiness and tears, for laughter and pain. She will be forever missed by everyone who knew her. God bless You Mom. We love You forever. Prayers will be said Thursday, July 19 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, July 20 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Church, 341 Selkirk Avenue, with an Oblate Father officiating. Interment to follow in Holy Ghost Cemetery. Wieczny Odpoczynek Racz Jej Dac, Panie CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
