ROBERT (BOB) CHARLES SANDERS Peacefully, at South Huron Hospital, Exeter on Monday, July 16, 2007, surrounded by his family, Robert Bob Charles Sanders, of Grand Cove Estates, Grand Bend, formerly of Winnipeg, Guelph and Windsor, aged 68. Beloved husband of Bernadette Bernie Jean (McKnight) Sanders. Loved father of Bob and Lisa Sanders of Shallow Lake, Ontario, Greg and Cindy Sanders of London, Liana Sanders and partner Marc Beaudry of Piedmont, Quebec, Brian Sanders and his wife Lisa Yang of Quispamsis, New Brunswick. Loving POPS of Branden, Caitlin, Sam, T.J., Marli, Madeleine, Alexis and Jasmine, the little loves of his life. Dear brother of Pat and Bruce McLachlan of Kingston, Pam Pokorny of Essex, Rick and Debbie Sanders, Ron and Gertie Sanders, Ray and Shelley Sanders, Craig and Kathy Sanders, all of Windsor, Chuck Sanders and Denise of Petrolia. Bob will be remembered by his nieces, nephews and their families. He will be dearly missed by the McKnight family. Predeceased by parents Helen and Charles Sanders and brother-in-law Jack Pokorny. A visitation for immediate family was held, followed by cremation. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the T. Harry Hoffman Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, Ontario, Saturday, July 21, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. The Rev. Father Ray Lawhead officiating. Interment will take place at Greenlawn Cemetery, Windsor at a later date. Memorial donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or charity of choice. After retiring in 2004 as Business Manager at Keystone Ford, Winnipeg, Bob and Bernie settled into their new home in Grand Bend, Ontario with family close by and the golf course and racing drag strip even closer.
