Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHECTOR DAVID CLARKE Hector passed away peacefully early Tuesday morning, July 17, 2007, at Red River Place in Selkirk, Manitoba, at the age of 79 years. Hector was predeceased by this parents, John and Cynthia; brothers, Jim, Bert, Hughie, Billy and Charlie; sisters, Dorothy, Margaret and Jean. Hector is survived by his sister Clara Donald (Bill); and sister-in-law Margie Clarke; his special nieces and nephews, Laurie and Peggy, Robert (Donna) and Robin and Sam. He also leaves his special great-nieces and nephews, Shannon (Frankie), Debbie (Raymond), Bobby Joe, Brittany and Quinn; and his great-great-nephews, Cody and Keenan, his buddies; as well as many other nieces, nephews and special friends, Orville and Denise Stephanson, and cousin Ben Prettie. Hector was born on June 2, 1928, in Selkirk, Manitoba. He lived in East Lower Fort Garry for 70 years and the last seven years in Selkirk. Hector was known for his great social skills and had many friends. Hector loved music (especially his harmonica), listening to music by Hank Snow and his friend Orville Stephanson (and family), coffee time at the Boat, chatting with his friends in the mall, hanging out at Benny's and spending time out at the Land with Orville and all the animals. Funeral service will be held at Gilbart's Funeral Home on Friday, July 20, 2007, at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Stan Richards officiating. Pallbearers are Robert Clarke, Bobby Joe Clarke, Cody Fekete, Roddy Goetz, Sam Thomas and Alec Birston. We'll miss you Uncle Hec! Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
