HARRY PUDDINGTON LAWS June 11, 1927 - July 17, 2007 It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Harry P. Laws on July 17, 2007 at the age of 80 years at Riverview Health Centre. Harry is survived by his loving wife Norma; his daughter Kathy (Elliott) Scott, children: Kristina, Brendan, Jordan; and his son Gary Laws, children: Brady and Shianna; stepsons, Jack (Marion) Wakeham and their five children; Gary (Janice) Wakeham and their three children; his brother Douglas and wife Ruth of Fredericton, NB. Harry was predeceased by his first wife Alberta (nee Morgan) in 1984, mother of Kathy and Gary; also by both parents and brothers, Earl, Gordon and Norman. Harry grew up in Marysville, NB. Attended the Alexander Memorial School then on to Fredericton High School. Entered the University of New Brunswick and graduated in 1952 with a B.Sc. in Forestry. Upon graduation Harry worked for the Department of Natural Resources, Province of Manitoba for 33 years, where he eventually became a Director of the Forestry Branch. Harry retired in 1983. Our families would like to extend our most sincere appreciation to the Doctors and staff at Grace General Hospital and Riverview Health Centre for their care. At Harry's request, a small private service will take place at Chapel Lawn. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba or Riverview Health Centre.
