STEPHI (STELLA, TILLIE) MARTEL (nee LASAKOWSKI) Peacefully in the morning of July 18, 2007, Baba passed on to her true life with Jesus. Beloved mother, grandmother and aunt, she is survived by her son Gary Lou, his wife Dana and her three grandchildren, Erica, Ezekiel and Michael Trey. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Auntie Tillie will be sadly missed by nieces, Darlene, June and Michelle and nephew Danny (Margaret). She was predeceased by her father and mother, Michael and Elizabeth Lasakowski; sisters, Janet, Lena, Jean and Mary; and brothers, Fred and John. Many thanks to the nurses and staff at Health Sciences Centre. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 24 at 2:00 p.m. at All Saints Cemetery, 4535 Main Street.
