OLGA TEPLESKI (nee MACHOWSKI) It is with sadness that the family of Olga Tepleski, aged 92 years, of Selkirk, announces her passing on July 18, 2007, at the Selkirk General Hospital. Olga was predeceased by her husband Steve, infant son Michael, sisters Eva, Helen, Annie, and Kay and son-in-law Roger Wasnie. She is survived by her children Doreen (Paul) Hughes, Thomas (Anna), Lawrence (Lillian), Betty Wasnie (Dan), Gordon (Debbie), Jean (Nicholas) Lanxon-Whitford and Barry (Velvet); sister Mary Morin; brother John (Millie); special cousin Anne Jones; 17 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces. Mom was born on December 19, 1914, and resided in East Selkirk for many happy years. She enjoyed to travel, garden, read and cross stitch but her greatest pleasure was the company of her family and friends. Special thanks to Dr. G. Fuchs and the staff at the Selkirk General Hospital, Dr. Demsas and staff at the Selkirk Betel Home, and Nadine and all the homecare staff. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 23 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk, with cremation to follow. A celebration of mom's life will be held at the Gilbart Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, July 24 at 2:00 p.m. with Fr. Peter Chorney officiating. Interment will follow in the East Selkirk Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba. Vichnaya Pamyat. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
