PIERRE CHARLES DAOUST Gotta Go May 19, 1933 - July 11, 2007 Pierre Daoust, one memorable man, who lived his 74 years of life to the absolute fullest! Pierre was young at heart with an incredible zest for life. He was an avid camper, card shark, game aficionado, world traveler, social butterfly, world's best hyperbolist , raconteur, dog lover, prankster, great debater, and the Mayor of Optimist Park Drive . Pierre had a diverse and successful career. He embraced every opportunity that came his way and had the knack of turning work into play. Pierre was a natural born salesman and his sales career included vacuum cleaners, furniture and jewelry, before committing to a career as a financial advisor/manager with London Life and Great-West Life. Best friend, soul-mate and husband to Liz; wonderful caregiver to Sabrina, his canine companion; fun-loving and inspirational father to Louis, Jeannine (Louis Roy), Linda (Les Branconnier) and Mike (Leslie); hip grandfather to Jesse, Lonny, Lindsey, Patrick, Andre, Jared, Aaron and Vaughn; and great-grandfather to Nolan, Mikayla and Jovi. Pierre brought much love into the lives of his brothers and sisters and their families: Eleonore (Henry Klassen), Yolande (Ray Langlais), George (Carole), Doris (Armand Bouvier), Armande (Fred Putz), Juliette (Bob Baker), Simone (Len Sentes), Vivian (Bryan Hinkewich), Rene (Faye). Liz's family, Ewald, Heidi, Reiny, Trish, Natina, Arielle, David and Voula, will greatly miss their son-in-law, brother-in-law and uncle. Pentzek family gatherings in St. Catharine's will never be the same without him. Pierre was an inspiration to many, always giving, laughing, sharing, and lending a hand. His radiant smile and sparkling eyes conveyed his love of life. What a legacy he has left! Cremation has taken place in accordance with Pierre's wishes.
