Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLYLE FRANKLIN KIMPEL It is with deep regret we announce the death of Lyle Franklin Kimpel on Saturday, July 7, 2007 at the Riverview Health Centre, at the age of 89 years. Remaining to forever cherish Lyle's memory are his sons, Laurie and Dana (Lorraine); his remaining sister Adele Thomson of Richmond, BC; his grandchildren, Bruce (Shannon), Jonathan, Allan and Eric; great-grandchildren, Hunter and Jade; as well as many friends. Lyle was born in Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin on February 3, 1918, he moved to New Westminster, BC as a child with his late parents. Lyle served overseas in the R.C.A.F. during the Second World War, after the war he met Margaret Wilson MacDonald (Reta) and married her. Returning to British Columbia, Lyle spent most of his working career in the gypsum drywall industry; first with Gypsum, Lime and Alabastine, then Domtar Construction Materials. He retired in the Eighties', enjoying his life with mom until she passed away in March of 2002. In compliance with Lyle's wishes no formal funeral service will be held. The family wishes to thank the doctors and staff of Riverview Health Centre for their many kindnesses and care in Dad's final years, especially CD4 and 3 West. In lieu of flowers, donations in Lyle's memory may be made to the Riverview Health Centre, 1 Morley Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3L 2P4. Dad's finally gone home to look after Mom.
