IRENE LUCIE HEBERT (nee VINCENT) After a brief but courageous battle with cancer Irene passed away on Wednesday, July 18, 2007 with her family by her side at the Pine Falls Hospital. Irene is survived by her loving children, Robert (Bobby) and daughter Monique (Garth Riley), grandchildren, Geoffrey, Dusty, Alicia and great-grandson Anthony. Her memory will be cherished by her sisters, Sylvia, Alice, Annette (John), Aldea, Marie-Rose (Leon), Malvina, Eva (Lorne), Lillian (John), brothers, Romeo (Barbara), Roger (Louise), brother-in-law Balfour, sisters-in-law, Peggy, Sheila, and Lillian Veilleux. Irene's generosity of special meals and gifts of love will be forever remembered by her numerous nieces and nephews; her door was always open to welcome them. Her special gifts for crafts and gardening brought joy to many family and friends. Her compassion and generosity was a reflection of God's love to us. Irene will be sadly missed and mourned by everyone whose lives she touched. A memorial mass will be held on Tuesday, July 24 at 2:00 p.m. at the Notre Dame du Laus Roman Catholic Church, Powerview with Rev. Fr. James Grey presiding. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Notre Dame du Laus Roman Catholic Parish, Powerview. Thank-you to the doctors, nurses and staff at the Pine Falls General Hospital for the compassion and generous care they gave Irene.
