INA-BRETT BERTHELETTE (nee Johnson) June 21, 1930 - July 20, 2007 Peacefully on July 20, 2007 with family by her side, Ina passed away at the Selkirk General Hospital. Ina was born on June 21, 1930 in Toronto, ON. She moved to Manitoba where she met and married Bert, her husband of 59 years. They made their home in Pine Falls, MB, where they enjoyed their life together raising their four children. In retirement, Ina spent many happy years in Arizona and their home at Albert Beach. Ina was actively involved in her community and church where she was a member of the choir, CWL and the Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed her career of 22 years working with the doctors and staff at the Pine Falls Clinic. Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband Bert, sons Don (Darla) and Jeff and her daughter Gisele (Jacques), 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Ina was predeceased by her parents, her brother and sister, her son Reg and one grandson. The family would like to thank Dr. Demsas and the wonderful staff at the Selkirk General Hospital for their compassion and loving care during her difficult time. A celebration of Ina's life will be held on Monday, July 23, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at the Notre Dame Church, 269 Jemima St. in Selkirk, MB, with Fr. Dado Parrenas officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Selkirk and District General Hospital Foundation. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
