Martha Hikoski November 16, 1925 - July 18, 2007 Peacefully on July 18, 2007 and surrounded by her family in hospital, Martha Hikoski passed away at the age of 81. Martha was born in 1925 in Mountain Road, Manitoba. She was predeceased by her husband Mike, her parents John and Mary Adamyk, and by two brothers Victor and Peter. She is survived by her sons Ron and Ralph and her daughter Gloria (Paul Lafreniere). She is also survived by a brother Andrew Adamyk and sister Katherine Simpson. Over the years Martha excelled and took pride in her cooking, baking, sewing, quilting, gardening, and being an all-around excellent homemaker. Mother had a great common sense approach that really served her well throughout her life. She passed on and taught many of her skills to her family but of course we could never quite match her skill level. She was the star of our family. Pallbearers will be sons Ron and Ralph, daughter Gloria and son-in-law Paul, nephew Myril Adamyk, and family friends Bob Radford and Dave Speiss. Arrangements with White’s Funeral Home, Neepawa.
