Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryIRENE DOROTHY VIZNAUGH (SKINNIE) June 23, 1938 July 19, 2007 With heavy hearts we announce that our wife, mother and grandmother, Irene (Skinnie), left us peacefully, surrounded by her family, on July 19, 2007 at the Concordia Hospital. Irene will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 52 years, Bill; her children, Jocie (Rick), Patty and Clayton (Bonny); her grandchildren, Kristen, Liam, Dawn (Bob), Gordon, and James and one great-grandchild, Riley. Irene will also be missed by her sisters, Marie, Elsie and their families, stepfather Bruce Falconer, special friends Bob and Betty Littlejohn, along with other numerous family and friends. Irene was predeceased by her parents, Elsie Falconer and John Cummings; stepson Len Anderson and brother Frank Anderson. Mom will be remembered for her kindness, generosity and willingness to help whenever needed. Her love for us all was unconditional. Funeral services will be held at St. Saviour's Anglican Church, Munroe and Grey, Winnipeg at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 24 with Rev. Rick Condo officiating. In keeping with Mom's wishes, viewing for the immediate family only will take place prior to the service. Interment and prayers to follow at Balsam Bay Cemetery with Rev. Judy Whitmore officiating, approximate arrival time 12:45 p.m. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to a charity of your choice. Pallbearers will be Clayton and Liam Viznaugh, Rick Johnston, Gord Hourie and Sam and Scott Thomas. Lunch will be provided at the Patricia Beach Community Hall. The family extends heartfelt thanks to the staff in the ICU Unit at the Concordia Hospital and special thanks to Pat and Emmanuel of W-2 Unit.
