Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryIn Loving Memory LEO JOSEPH GOULET 1916 - 2007 Leo Joseph Goulet, of Oliver, BC, passed away after a long illness on Wednesday, July 18, 2007 surrounded by family at McKinney Place, Oliver. He was 91 years old. Leo is lovingly remembered by his four sons Vic (Diane) of Oliver, BC, Paul (Evelyn) of La Broquerie, MB, Edmond of Winnipeg, MB, and Art (Cheryl) of Calgary, AB, and by his daughter Eva (Al) Goertzen of Calgary, AB. Also mourning his passing are his three stepdaughters Chloe, Jackie, and Jeannette, his daughter-in-law Heather (wife of George), 16 grandchildren, and numerous great-grand-children, nieces, and nephews, and his special friend Irene Vereecken. He was predeceased by his first wife, Laura and his second wife Madeleine; by two sons, René and Georgie, and by three grandchildren Richard, Craig, and Darryl. Leo was born on March 22, 1916 in St. Boniface, Manitoba. He was employed at Winnipeg Electric and Winnipeg Hydro. In later years, he was self-employed, also making many friends along the way. Leo's lifelong passion was camping throughout Canada and the USA. While living in Manitoba, he enjoyed hunting with his sons. He loved to challenge anyone in a game of crib. A funeral mass was celebrated on. Monday, July 23, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church with Fr. Walter Doherty officiating. A reception followed in Christ the King Church Lower Hall Donations are gratefully accepted for McKinney Place, RR3, 7139 362nd Ave, Oliver, BC V0H 1T0. Arrangements entrusted to Graham Funeral Home Oliver and Osoyoos, BC.
