Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJEAN AUGUSTA EINFELD (COX) November 2, 1921 - July 22, 2007 After a short illness Jean passed away at the Grace Hospital. She was born in Winnipeg to parents Lillian and Holly Cox. She was predeceased by her parents and husband Simon, sisters Gert and Gloria and brother Harold. She is survived by sons Chuck (Pauline), Mernie (Chris), grandchildren Brad (Janice), Sheldon, Crystal (Brian), Nikki (John), great-grandchildren Jared, Blake, Bailey, Riley, sister June and numerous nieces and nephews. She grew up in Elmwood and worked at her father's bakery in her teenage years. She first came to Victoria Beach in 1936 when her father bought the bakery. While working there she met her future husband Simon. They were wed on June 1, 1940. They later bought a bakery in Transcona, owned that for a few years, sold it and took over the bakery in Victoria Beach. While owning that one they also bought WOODIES GOODIES on 2063 Portage Ave. They retired later on and spent the summers at Arnolds Camp at Lee River. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 25, 2007, at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., with interment and reception to follow. Remembrances may be made to Salvation Army Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 1932, Winnipeg, MB R3C 3R2, in Jean's memory. Arrangements entrusted to: Chapel Lawn Funeral Home 885-9715
