MISS ANNE (EVELYN) KULBABA 1916 - 2007 It is with great sorrow the family announces the passing of Evelyn Kulbaba on July 23, 2007, at Bethania Nursing Home. Evelyn was born 1916 in Sandhill, MB, moving to Winnipeg as a young adult. For most of her life Evelyn travelled and worked, firstly waitressing and later in clerical duties both in various offices and also at Women's College Hospital in Toronto, from which she retired in 1978, when she returned to Winnipeg. Evelyn spent numerous hours doing volunteer work both in Ontario and in Manitoba. She leaves to mourn, three sisters, Minnie, Ada and Myrna (Alex) Wensel; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews as well as other relatives and friends. Evelyn was predeceased by her parents Marko and Pearl Kulbaba; two sisters, Dorothy and Lena; and two brothers, Mike and Harold. Prayers will be held on Wednesday, July 25 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 26 at 11:00 a.m., also at the Chapel, with Rev. Fr. Nestor Yakiwchuk officiating. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her nephews, Ralph Kundel, Richard Kundel, Zane Lomatski, Gordon Yakimow, Bob Sawatzky and Darrin Burton. Honorary pallbearers will be her nieces, Sylvia Yakimow, Cherylene Sawatzky and Roxanne Burton. Should friends desire, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society or the Canadian Diabetes Association. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
