BRADLEY JAMES BAXTER With heavy hearts and deep regrets, we announce the tragic and sudden death of Brad Baxter on Sunday, July 22, 2007. At the age of 33 years old, this wonderful husband and father was taken from us at his residence in Grand Marais, MB. Brad was born in Winnipeg, MB on May 8, 1974. He was raised in the Winnipeg and St. Andrew's area and eventually moved on to Grand Marais with his family. Brad met his high school sweetheart Tannis, and they were married on July 25, 1998. His ultimate love and enjoyment was for his wife, and their four children, Codey (11), Travis (8), Jade (6) and April (3). Brad will never be forgotten for his heartwarming smile, wild sense of humour, endless energy and his love and devotion to his family. His love for the outdoors made it easy for him to reside in Grand Marais, where his many hobbies revolved around his children. He loved to take them four wheeling, swimming at the beach, campfires and just enjoying his yard. He will be known to many friends and acquaintances as the guy who always showed up first ready to lend a helping hand to anyone. Brad was a talented mechanic who was employed at Ross equipment for approximately nine years. He could fix almost anything and could magically create his own solutions. He will always be remembered, respected and loved by all of his co-workers. Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife and children, who with endless tears and sad hearts will help his memory go on. Brad also leaves to mourn his mother-in-law Marlene; father-in-law Walter and many other loving relatives and friends. Brad will be sadly missed by his loving community and the family would like to extend thanks to family, friends, RCMP, Fire Department and Pine Falls Hospital for their efforts. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a trust fund established for Brad's children at Cambrian Credit Union in Selkirk, MB. LITTLE ANGELS IN THE SKY TAKE DADDY'S HANDS AND HELP HIM FLY UP TO JESUS WHERE YOU'LL SOAR AND SADLY MISSED FOREVER MORE. A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 27 at 11:00 a.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk with Rev. Brad Elliott officiating. Interment of ashes will follow at the Grand Marais Cemetery. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
