EVELYN (MIMI) MAHE It is with very heavy hearts the family announces the sudden death of Evelyn Mimi Mahé, our cherished mother, grandmother and great-grandmother on Sunday, July 22, 2007. She leaves to mourn her daughter Debbie, husband Michael, grandchildren Christina (Nathan), Michelle and Paul, her great-granddaughter Elizabeth, her sister Peggy (Hans), many nephews and nieces, and her dear friends Cheryl and John Baines. She also leaves behind many other friends. Mimi was predeceased by her husband Antoine, her son George, her parents John and Elizabeth, her three brothers Jack, Ted (Rene) and Allan (Eileen). Mom, if it hadn't been for you, I may have never known how truly strong and courageous a woman could be. Your inner strength and loving disposition were truly remarkable. My dear sweet mom, you are my courage, my hope and my inspiration and I love you very much. Many thanks to the staff at Deer Lodge Centre for the care that was shown to Evelyn in the past few years. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 26, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 DesMeurons Street. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook Street, Winnipeg, MB R3C 9Z9.
